  1. "God himself was once as we are now, and is an exalted man, and sits enthroned in yonder heavens. That is the great secret. If the veil was rent to-day, and the great God who holds this world in its orbit, and who upholds all worlds and all things by his power, was to make himself visible,—I say, if you were to see him to-day, you would see him like a man in form—like yourselves, in all the person, image, and very form as a man; for Adam was created in the very fashion, image, and likeness of God, and received instruction from, and walked, talked, and conversed with him, as one man talks and communes with another"

Every missionary should be able to say this with conviction.

  9. It’s a great day to be a Christian.

    theselatterdays:

I am so grateful for this conference weekend.

I am so grateful for a living prophet.

I could not be more grateful to my Father in Heaven and his son, my savior, Jesus Christ, and for the sweet, beautiful spirit I felt today as I listened to inspired words.

I know God lives. I know that Jesus is the Christ. And I know that the gospel has been restored to it’s fullness.

    The Church is TRUE!

I loved this quote that Elder Uchtdorf used in his talk this morning at General Conference

“Preach the Gospel at all times and when necessary use words”

We should always be an example of Christ. Love Everyone.

  14. "The gift of the priesthood is priceless. It carries with it the authority to act as God’s servants, to administer to the sick, to bless our families, and to bless others as well. Its authority can reach beyond the veil of death, on into the eternities. There is nothing else to compare with it in all this world. Safeguard it, treasure it, live worthy of it."
    — President Thomas S Monson

  15. "Your mission will be a sacred opportunity to bring others to Christ and help prepare “for the Second Coming of the Savior"
    — Elder Neil L Anderson
